LANG LTC Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. manages the tt.lang.com.pl website and websites for all events operated under that umbrella, as well as the social media platforms on Facebook (Lesson Ideas, Lang LTC), Twiiter (@odn_lang) and Instagram (@odnlang & @celta_in_warsaw).

LANG LTC  understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your information is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits Our Site and reads emails from us and will only collect and use information in ways that are useful to you and in a manner consistent with your rights and Our obligations under the law.

The personal data we store

The following personal data may be collected, held, and processed by LANG LTC Sp. z.o. Sp. k, the company that operates this website:

  • Email addresses and personal details (including name, surname and email address) of the email subscribers who gave their consent to receive marketing correspondence from Lang LTC via email. This information is held for the purposes of keeping subscribers informed about  ELT job offers, marketing updates and the ELT Training opportunities  (co-)organised by Lang LTC.
  • Email addresses and personal details (including name, surname, correspondence address, email address, phone number, Skype ID, occupation, date of birth, nationality, place and country of residence, qualifications and previous experience and contact details to refrees, etc.) of applicants who want to apply for the Celta, Delta, TKT, Train the Trainer  IH Teacher Trainer and IH DoS courses. The type of data collected is regulated by the course regulations and recruitment procedures established by the main course creators and providers: Cambridge Assessment English TQ (Celta, Delta, TKT, Train the Trainer) and International House Online Teacher Training Institute (IH Teacher Trainer, IH DoS).
  • IP address and anonymised behaviour information is also collected, held and processed by Lang LTC for the purposes of optimising the experience of using the site and reducing spam.

Our policy regarding the data we store

The following five points describe our policy at Lang LTC with regard to the above personal data that we store:

  • We only store personal data that we have been given permission to keep.
  • We only store personal data when there is a reason to do so.
  • You have the right at any time to ask us what personal data we are storing about you and why.
  • You have the right at any time to ask us to remove your personal data from our records.
  • We safely and securely store and process any personal data that we control.

  1. What Data Do We Collect?

Some data will be collected automatically by Our Site, other data will only be collected if you voluntarily submit it and consent to Us using it for the purposes set out in section 5, for example, when signing up for our Mailing List, when attending an event (co-)organised by Lang LTC  or when applying for a course organised by Lang LTC.

Depending upon your use of Our Site, products and services – as outlined in Our PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY – We may collect some or all of the following data:

We use your data to provide you with information that you have stated is relevant and of interest to  you. This includes:

  • Links to ELT & teacher training updates (posts and articles)
  • Teaching & ELT-related job offers
  • Information about the events/courses that you are attending or have attended
  • Information about upcoming events/courses
  • Promotional campaigns (competitions, flash sales, etc.)
  • Responses to comments on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Displaying your avatar on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Reducing spam comments on our social media platforms
  • Analysing your use of Our Site to enable Us to continually improve Our Site and your user experience.

Under GDPR we will ensure that your personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, without adversely affecting your rights.

  1. How and Where Do We Store Your Data?

We only keep your data for as long as We need to in order to use it as described above in section 2, and/or for as long as We have your permission to keep it.  In any event, We will conduct a regular review to ascertain whether we need to keep your data. Your data will be deleted if we no longer need it.

  1. Do We Share Your Data?

We don’t share any of your data with third party organisations other than in private accounts that we manage, e.g. in MailChimp, used to send emails and messages to subscribers, or Przelewy24, used to manage payments. We also store some of the data in Google Cloud when you apply for our courses via online forms (Google Forms in Google Drive).

When the courses we offer are moderated or organised by a third party, they obtain the personal data of the course participants – within the constraints of Administrative Procedures as regards recruitment, assessment and certification, as well as complaints – for respective courses:

  • Cambridge Assessment English TQ: CELTA, Delta 1, Train the Trainer
  • Cambridge Assessment English: TKT CLIL, TKT YL
  • International House Online Teacher Training Institute: IH DoS, IH Teacher Trainer

We may compile statistics about the use of Our Site including data on traffic, usage patterns, user numbers, sales and other information. All such data will be anonymised and will not include any personally identifying information. We may from time to time share such data with third parties such as prospective investors, affiliates, partners and advertisers. Data will only be shared and used within the bounds of the law.

In certain circumstances We may be legally required to share certain data held by Us, which may include your personal information, for example, where We are involved in legal proceedings, where We are complying with the requirements of legislation, a court order, or a governmental authority. We do not require any further consent from you in order to share your data in such circumstances and will comply as required with any legally binding request that is made of Us.

We aim to give you strong controls on Our use of your data, including:

3. Pani/Pana dane osobowe są przetwarzane w celu:
• rejestracji na wydarzenie TW!ST’18;

4. Pani/Pana dane osobowe będą przetwarzane w zakresie:
• imienia (imion) i nazwiska, adresu e-mail, numeru telefonu, adresu IP komputera/urządzenia, z którego wysłano pytanie, dane niezbędne do wystawienia faktury.

5. Dane osobowe będą udostępniane w minimalnym, niezbędnym zakresie inny odbiorcom, w celu realizacji odpowiedzi na Pani/Pana pytanie. Odbiorcy Pani/Pana danych:
• pracownicy, dostawcy usług na rzecz Lang LTC sp. z o.o. sp.k. na podstawie zawartych umów, firmy świadczące usługi pocztowe i kurierskie w celu dostarczenia dokumentów lub materiałów;

6. Pani/Pana dane będą przechowywane/przetwarzane:
• do czasu wycofania zgody na ich przetwarzanie w tym celu (art. 6 ust 1 lit. a RODO);
• jeżeli przetwarzanie jest niezbędne do wypełnienia obowiązku prawnego ciążącego na Administratorze danych (art.6 ust 1 lit. c);
• jeżeli żadna z powyższych przesłanek nie nastąpi, Pani/Pana dane będą usuwane do 31 stycznia następnego roku po zakończeniu roku kalendarzowego, w którym wysłano zgłoszenie.

7. Posiada Pani/Pan prawo: żądania dostępu do swoich danych osobowych (art. 15 RODO), ich sprostowania (art. 16 RODO), prawo do przenoszenia danych (art. 20 RODO), a nadto w określonych w Rozporządzeniu przypadkach do usunięcia danych (art. 17 RODO) oraz ograniczenia ich przetwarzania (art. 18 RODO).

8. Zgodnie z art. 21 RODO posiada Pani/Pan prawo złożenia sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania swoich danych osobowych.

9. W przypadku uznania, że przetwarzanie Pani/Pana danych osobowych narusza przepisy Rozporządzenia, przysługuje Pani/Pan prawo do złożenia skargi do organu nadzorczego, tj. do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych.
